The Solo Nations Cup 2008 was sailed from 28-20 of June on the east side of the IJsselmeer from the town of Workum in Friesland. The 25 competitors enjoyed 3 days of exciting sailing in challenging conditions. The big waves were a nightmare to some, and a joy for others. It made the run the place to win or to loose a lot of places. From the first start it was clear the David McGregor was the man to beat and luckily for him, nobody could. After 9 races with 2 discards a score of 7 points made him the obvious and well deserved winner of the Nations Cup 2008.
