John Daniels, solozeiler in hart en nieren is overleden. Hij is een van de meest bekende solozeilers in de GBR.

It is with great sadness I have to report the death of John Daniels last Tuesday. He finally lost his battle with Pancreatic cancer after a short illness.
John has been a long standing Solo sailor and of late he has sailed 4040 Pocket Rocket, a Gosling, in which he won the Septimus Trophy in 2012.
John sailed in many of the Solo championships over many years.
He will be sadly missed.
